RACE FEES FOR 2013

The Race Fee is €70 per Team per Race. After the initial registration, Teams must pay the Race Fees using Paypal to info@oeps-racing.com.

In 2013 the payment of Race Fees will NOT be accepted on race day. Fees must be paid in advance, so we can make the racing schedules accordingly. If the fees are not received in time, your entry will be refused.



For OEPS 1, the fees have to be received by 11th February at 23:59.
Race schedule will then be posted on 18th February

For OEPS 2, the fees have to be received by 5th August at 23:59
Race schedule will then be posted on 12th August

For OEPS 3, the fees have to be received by 14th October at 23:59
Race schedule will then be posted on 21st Oktober


The OEPS is a non-profit organization and entry fees cover the following costs:

- Rental of the tracks and race facilities for the race days.
- Motors and tyres.
- Trophies and awards.

We hope everyone appreciates our efforts to keep the Race Fees as reasonable as possible and still ensure top facilities and support for the OEPS series.







LMP1 RULEBOOK PROVISIONAL AS OF 11JAN13



CHANGES FOR 2013 SHOWN IN ORANGE


1. DESCRIPTION

Any true 1/24 scale representation of a 1/1 LMP1 (Le Mans Prototype) car that has raced in the American Le Mans Series or the European Le Mans Series in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013

The Oreca Racing ‘FLM’ Formula Le Mans car is not classified as LMP1 or LMP2 in either the LMS or ALMS and therefore is not permitted to run in the OEPS.

2. WEIGHTS and MEASUREMENTS

2.01 Minimum totalweight: 170.00 grams
2.03 Maximum front spur: 83.00 millimeters
2.04 Maximum rear spur: 83.00 millimeters
2.05 Minimum ground clearance at the start of the race is 1.20 millimeter
2.06 Minimum ground clearance for the chassis during and after the race: 0.40 millimeter
2.07 Minimum front rim diameter, inner and outer: Ø20.00 mm inner and Ø21.00 mm outer
2.08 Minimum front wheel outer diameter: Ø26.50 mm
2.09 Minimum front wheel width 6.00 mm
2.10 Minimum front rim width 6.00 mm
2.11 Minimum width of contact area 6.00 mm
2.12 Maximum front wheel camber angle: 3.00°
2.13 Maximum width of chassis: 78mm

3. MOTOR, GEAR AND PINION

3.01 The handout race motor is the SRP-13D Speed40 short can 40,000 rpm motor.
3.02 The pignon and spur gear is fixed at 9:44T M50 pitch respectively. Teams must provide their own pinion gear.
3.03 Racing will be done on 11V.


4. CHASSIS

4.01 Only one part of the chassis is allowed to enter the track’s slot, and this part may not have a longer contact area then 27 millimeters.
4.02 Differentials are not allowed.
4.03 Magnets are only present in the motor, and are not allowed anywhere else on/in the chassis.
4.04 The motor can not be fixed to the chassis with solder.

5. WHEELS & INSERTS

FRONT WHEELS
The front wheels must make contact with the track or techblock over the full 6 millimeters, or more.
The use of cambered front wheels does not void in any way the rule regarding the minimum diameter, nor the rule regarding the contact surface with the track or the tech block.
Front wheel diameter for cambered front wheels will be measured at the largest present diameter, which has to be respecting rule 1.08.

REAR WHEELS
Rear wheels are handout Scaleauto ProComp wheels, trued to Ø27.3 mm - Ø27.4 mm, 13 mm wide, Ø20 mm inside. Tyre dressing of any kind is not allowed during the official training or during the race. The hand out race tyres may be only be cleaned by using the tape supplied by the OEPS organization.

SPUR
None of the wheels may be visible when looked on the assembled car from above. Spur will be measured over the complete rims left and right.

WHEEL INSERTS
All 4 wheels of the car must be fitted with 3-dimensional wheel inserts, resembling the wheels of the real 1:1 car, during the entire race duration


6. BODY & ACCESORIES

MANUFACTURE

The LMP bodies as manufactured and distributed by Carrera are not permitted.
The Audi R10 body that is manufactured and distributed by Revell is not permitted.

MATERIAL

Body must be manufactured and/or assembled from one or more of the following materials : molded polystyrene, (i.e. plastic model kits) or molded and/or resin laminated with glass fiber, carbon fiber, or similar materials.

The exterior of the body has to acurately represent the 1/1 car. This is to the discretion of the scrutineers to judge.

Lexan is allowed for the interior, windows etc., rear wing, diffuser and small add-on parts. Lexan is allowed for a rear vertical aero wing e.g. 2011 Peugeot 908, etc. Lexan is not allowed to make up an integrated part of the body.

The body must cover all chassis and axel parts, so that no chassis part or axel part is visible when the car is looked at from above. This also includes the guide.

Exception: Cars that had openings above all 4 wheels as was mandatory in 1/1 racing since 2012, may have these openings aswell in 1/24, at the correct positions.

BODY INTERIOR

Interior must contain at least the following 3-dimensional items :
dashboard,
steering wheel,
painted driver figure with legs,
painted head/helmet combination in a hard plastic material.

BODY EXTERIOR

Bodies must be equipped with:
Front windshield and side windows if existing on the 1/1 race car
Front splitter if existing on the 1/1 race car
Rear spoiler
Rear view mirror(s)
Rear diffuser

7. LIGHTS

Functioning lights have to be present at least during the night section. These lights have to be installed on their original 1/1 location in the car.
Front lights: minimum two lights in total, one left, one right, yellow or white color, bright beam.
Rear lights: minimum two lights in total, one left, one right, red color, diffuse light.

ONLY ONE BODY DURING THE RACE
Only one body is allowed to be used for the duration of the race.

ONLY ONE CHASSIS DURING THE RACE
Only one chassis is allowed to be used for the duration of the race

8. REPAIRS

Following repairs must be carried out within 5 laps from when the damage first occurred :

- replacing or refitting the windshield
- refitting the rear wing is allowed by using glue and/or tape (any tape).
- the wing has to be placed back in it's original position and has to resemble the 'spirit' of the original mounting.
- a repaired, damaged or partially lost wing must be no less than 60mm wide and 5mm deep AT ALL TIMES.
- replacing or refitting the wheel insert(s)
- if the body or any part of the car other then the guide and wheels, touch or risk damage the track.

During night sections, non-functioning front and/or rear lights

- the lights are considered to be non-functioning if less then 3 corners of the car are illuminated for more then half a lap with the exception of braking for a corner.

Unless specifically directed by the race direction, all repairs must be carried out during racing time.

9. GENERAL RACE RULES

No lap will be returned to any team with the exception of:

- the car has passed the counter in a wrong lane and this has been confirmed by more than 1 person.
- the powersupply of the track fails.

If a lost part should cause the track to short or loose power, it will NOT result in laps being given back.


10. PENALTIES

If a car does not pass the post race TC, all laps of the best stint will be deducted from the overall lap total result.

En modèle réduit, la différence n'est pas énorme entre une LMP1 et une LMP2, ce n'est pas comme pour les vraies Wink
Et je vois qu'il y a même une Deltawing d'engagée, super ça cheers
Curieuse de voir ce que cela va donner sur une piste Very Happy

Tant que je suis "remontée" pour le LMS24, dit lui qu'il se dépêche pour le commercialiser Wink
Et si c'est le cas, qu'il envoie une carro et un châssis chez Hobby (et peut-être aussi les roues avant si elle sont spéciales pour la Deltawing) Wink
(Sinon, je vais faire un tour chez Fola, voir s'il n'a rien qui m'intéresse) lol!
